I've been away for so long. I have missed the klackity klack of my keyboard. I was away for so lung due to family things. You know, those things happen, sickness, holidays, and such that never seem to come one at a time. Noooo. They have to hit you in bunches! We even got to visit the aquarium in New Orleans, see picture of my little one. But, I digress. I am back and am ready to start again.
We haven't gotten he quails yet, they come in June. But, I have a full house for summer babysitting. We, my eldest daughter and I, have begun the arduous task of planning out the days of music, crafts, library, swimming and more. I will have a healthy number of kids, 15 in all. Different ages. Different backgrounds.
I babysit, yes, even though I have 7 kids. It gives my kids some playmates and my girls even more "mommy" practice. Babies are the best training tool for young girls to learn about mothering. We divvy up jobs, changing, feeding, playing, and we all see that the others are learning and doing in right.
Among other things, we will be hitting the library hard. Two and a half months of activities geared towards reading and the arts.
Hope I can write more later. I have to go see about my kiddos!!
